20:40 Group B - Trent Carter fought, his spirit to be admired but Michael Maze held all the aces. The Dane wins in four straight games.
Michael Maze succeeded 11-4, 11-5, 11-6, 11-5.
20:05 Group A - Werner Schlager beats Pradeeban Peter-Paul; the wide variation in the Austrian's play proves too much for the Canadian.

15:25: Group B - Joo Se Hyuk proves too experienced for a spirited Australian, Trent Carter.
Joo Se Hyuk wins 11-9, 11-7, 11-3, 11-2; Trent Carter learns.
14:50: China's Wang Hao, no.1 seed was tested by Austria's Werner Schlager in his opening match in Group A.
Wang Hao won 13-11, 9-11, 12-10, 11-3, 8-11, 11-8.
14:50: Meanwhile, Pradeeban Peter-Paul of Canada caused Chinese Taipei's Chuan Chih-Yuan a host of problems; the speed of Chuan Chih-Yuan eventually overcoming the power of the Canadia.
Chuuan Chih-Yuan won 8-11, 11-2, 6-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-9.
